Law of Attraction / Attraction Marketing - The Secret

I was browsing another network (not a ning) that inspired this group for Our Private Network.

One of the discussions was a simple poll that said the following:

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE GREATEST COMMODITY?

1) Energy

2) Services & Products

3) People

4) Technology

THE ANSWER WAS A TIE BETWEEN ENERGY & PEOPLE ...

This made me think hard for a second, and then brought to mind the part in "THE SECRET". This is specifically in respect to the part of the movie where the specialist explains that Law of Attraction is both energy and God. That when he interviewed Christians about God, they provided the same definition that is applied to energy.

This is not to say that was the energy that most had in mind when they voted this as a major commodity in this pole, but just interesting that both energy and people are the attracting factor in marketing and this generation.

"The use of the term law has also come under fire. Critics have said that the use of the term and the vague references to quantum physics to bridge any unexplained or seemingly implausible effects are hallmark traits of modern pseudoscience. Proponents of the Law of Attraction however say that the nature of the 'law' is not one to be settled scientifically, and the word 'law' carries the same belief-based weight as non-scientific 'laws' from other religions, such as the 'Law of Karma' and the Ten Commandments."

I hope that you understand where I am coming from here, and can provide your thoughts, experience and educate in Law of Attraction in life as well as Attraction Marketing in your business.

Sorry to here that your friend is leaving. Dubai is a centre of commerce and very beautiful from the little I have seen on the T.V. I also understand that Dubai is open to various philosophies as compared to other parts of the United Emirates.

Keep the door open for your friend. In the mean time that void may be filled by a new friend. Life is all about change. It seems that everything needs to flow, to move in order for things to increase. The view I take now is that there is a silver lining in everything. So, what is the silver lining for you.

Comment by Mark Bryan on December 17, 2008 at 8:38pm: Up until my early adolescence I spent most Sundays in church. Since then I have lived a secular lifestyle. Everything was externalized. "The Secret" brought my attention back to the idea that there is something bigger than all of us combined. Today my interest is more related to the Eastern way of looking at life. We are all interconnected and spiritual in nature. We need to return to looking inside for our answers. What happens on the inside affects what happens on the outside.

The Eastern view is that our relationships are mirrors. What you are seeing is your own reflection. If you do not like what you see, then you need to take a look inside yourself first. "The Secret" has definetely improved my relationships with people.

It is that we need to be aware of the connections between the energy and people. It is in my belief system to share that this energy is God and that we are made in the reflection of Him, therefore - God & People.

I would also like to share that it was just a few months ago that I was introduced to "The Secret". First, by a friend. A few weeks later, a friend on a network mentioned it by phone. A few days later I saw the video on another friend's profile page ... I caught a little attitude (as i typically do when I think that there is too much hype in a program and not Jesus). Next thing I knew, I was watching the movie ... Still, I was not enthused by what I thought was "hoopla", but obviously I was learning because the connection was made. Well, since then ...

1) I was moved to write my first non-business blog

2) I was at the point that I needed a miracle from God, and I did get it

3) Then I came across a blog related to how to apply the laws
(but of course I did not stop to read, but kept thinking ... apply).

4) Then I had several more blessings that I wanted for personal goals

5) Then I came across that pole

and this evening, as I was writing this reply to you, a woman from our EZ Wealth team mentioned "The Secret" and how people should get it.

Science is now confirming what philosophy and religion has been saying about human potential for thousands of years. The only real difference is in the approach. Experiential (deep meditation as in Yoga or Bhuddism) vs. theoretical (smashing atoms in an accelerator).
