Why Are People So Afraid of Cash Gifting??? Just Curious?
Hello Everyone,
Just wondering why it is supposed to be sooo illegal to be in or promote a Cash Gifting program! It seems to me that one of the members here made some good arguments and have posted some very valuable information about this question! Also, if it's so illegal, why are people still promoting it? It also seems to me that a person would be banned for posting such things if they were so illegal.
We all complain about it, but no one has answered any questions as to why it's so important not to join these types of programs! Oh, I've heard the norms about it, but has anyone honestly and truly looked into whether it's legal or not instead of jumping to conclusions or passing judgement?
I feel like everyone are just jumping on the ban-wagon of heresay and not the actual facts! I'm asking these questions because I have some very reputable friends who are promoting these very programs and wanted to join one of them, but was bombarded with the illegal issue which made me change my mind!
One of the members who has posted several blogs here has proven that this program is legal and when I went to make a comment to her and Thank her for finally setting things straight, there was a message stating that there were no comments to be made to her posts.
All I'm saying is that I would like to know once and for all, if Cash Gifting is legal or not and proof from someone who isn't promoting these kind of programs. I could check it out myself, but I really don't have the time! The reason I want to know about this so badly is because I know that my reputable friends wouldn't steer me wrong and I trust them and their decisions!
Could someone look into this for me and get back to me on this, as I'm seeing this as a solution to a problem more than a problem for a solution!

Hey Kareema, if you have the time, check out my blogs and videos on Cash Gifting....It's 100% legal in ALL countries as long as you follow the legal guidelines. It always amazes me why folks feel so aggressive about it being illegal. Banks and mortgage companies (lending institutions, i.e. student loans) have pre-written forms that they have consumers / clients fill out stating that they received "cash gift(s)" to help them with their downpayment(s) or costs towards tuition. It boggles my mind sometimes....

This is an excellent point that you are making here. There is much controversy over this topic and I agree with you. As long as the people are claiming gifts on their taxes, then I believe that it is legal.
I think that she blocked comments as to avoid any negative responses on her blog, you know? Some people are non confrontational --- like me :)
Maybe you can send her an email from her profile and then she can reply to you in private.
